This place was awesome. We didn’t want to leave. There are very thoughtful amenities, fully furnished kitchen, comfortable living area and great outdoor space. Everything from the creek and fire pit to the hot tub and sauna made this a luxury vacation for us. The directions Brian provided were very helpful in locating Villa Rock. Definitely would stay here again.

Hugga Creek was the perfect place for couples to celebrate a birthday. So close to the state park, but also very secluded and felt private. Everything was it tip top shape and easy to find. Would definitely recommend this place and any of the other cabins as well.

We had a wonderful stay and truly wished we had booked a few extra days—it felt like our own personal spa in such a gorgeous location. The home was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed to unwind.
During our trip, an unexpected situation came up that was out of the host’s control, but he didn’t hesitate to jumped right in to help, going above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly, and we were so grateful for his support.
This kind of hospitality is rare. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back and highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted experience.

Villa Prairie was such a peaceful escape. The views are picturesque. Everything about this place makes you relax from the aromas to the rain showers. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was gourmet to cook in. Loved the hot tub and fireplace! Thank you Brian for a memorable place to share with my family. Brian’s place is incredibly beautiful. Amazing design, great amenities and spotless. Every space is thoughtfully designed and decorated. The house is private, surrounded by a creek and nature. We loved the hot tub, sauna and cold plunge! Brian is a spectacular host. Super responsive and great recommendations. Highly recommend booking Brian’s place!

We had the most wonderful and peaceful stay at The Pine villa! The pictures did not do the property justice! It was a pristine setting all the amenities were perfect! The sauna was a big hit with the kids as was the hot tub… When a small issue arose, Brian was quick to jump and help us problem solve. What a wonderful way to unplug with our kids! Would highly recommend! Close to all kinds of great hikes and excursions… 20 minutes max away from anything in town. We can’t wait to return!

We had an unforgettable weekend at this stunning Scandinavian-style retreat. The open deck layout with separate buildings offered the perfect mix of privacy and connection. Every detail was so well thought out—from the cozy, luxurious beds to the fully stocked kitchen.
The design is modern, minimal, and calming—ideal for relaxing and reconnecting. Whether we were lounging on the deck or cooking together, it all felt effortless and peaceful. A true gem—we’ll definitely be back.

We had the pleasure of staying in this incredible Villa last weekend. The Villa was one of the cleanest and nicest we have ever stayed in. The hot tub was very clean and the private fire pit area was perfect for the cool nights. It is also very convenient to all of the hikes that Hocking Hills State Park has to offer. We would highly recommend staying here or any of the other villas the Hugga in the Hills has to offer!

Brian‘s home was such a great way for my sister and her friends to celebrate a bachelorette party. We were looking for a place that would accommodate a glamping style trip and this was perfect. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a serene background and wonderful amenities.

Great place to stay, and Brian is a great host. It is not quite as private as the pictures seem. There is another villa on back the same driveway, you can’t see the other villa but there is some traffic on the driveway. Also the patio area can be seen from the road which is not a big road, but still a little bit of traffic. This did not bother us at all, and it was a great place!!

We picked this cabin because we were looking for a rental that offered a sauna. Everything on the property was clean and in operating order (including the sauna 🙂 )
The arrival instructions were very helpful. The cell phone service was sketchy, and the tip to screenshot the door code was very helpful. Brian also shared some common feedback about finding the drive to the cabins, and that was helpful.
We did message about one thing – it had stormed in the area prior to our arrival, and we did ask if there were any issues as a result of the storms. I did not get a response until after we checked out. There were no issues.
Airbnb strongly recommends you communicate with hosts only through the app, and that is how we messaged. Brian did include other contact information, and maybe that would have yielded a quicker response. We were following the Arrbnb guidelines.
The pre-arrival communication and tips were very helpful, so I will give credit for that, and it is well deserved.
New experience
It was new experience for us to stay in deconstructed Villa Pine. Every room is connected by the outdoor. When the weather is cold, just need to be prepared for that. Yet, there is hot sauna and jacuzzi to keep warm. The area is secluded and private. It’s well built with renters in mind. We enjoyed our short stay very much and would like to come back.

It’s a wonderful getaway place. Peaceful and very quiet. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub after hiking in Hocking Hills. Spending time beside the fire in the evening was a great finish of the day. The bed was very soft like a cloud. Overall if you’re looking for a perfect getaway in the nature this is the place.

This place is amazing! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay. We had a peaceful weekend filled with great food (well stocked kitchen for cooking), sauna, hot tube and a fire pit. Every window seems placed to perfection with an incredible view. This house was made with care and great thought was put into the entire experience you have inside the house and outside. We will be back!

We had a lovely trip at Villa Prairie. The property is very peaceful and cozy. The villa is tastefully decorated and clean. We didn’t get to explore trails due to inclement weather but it was pretty to watch the snow fall from the warmth of the fireplace. There was a private snowplow that came and cleared the road very quickly which was appreciated. We hope to return in warmer weather!

We had such a great relaxing weekend with friends at Hugga! The villa cabins were amazing with great views. The entire property was super clean inside and out, the hot tub was great for the chilly nights, and we loved being able to have privacy in the evenings and meet together during the day in the eat n play cabin! Our stay was amazing. Everything was exactly as listed. I have been fooled by other listing’s being better in the pictures than actually being in person. This is not one of those places. What you see is actually what you get. By that I mean a very beautiful place to recharge your batteries. Peaceful and private! A big thank you to Brian and your staff for one incredibly, relaxing get away weekend. We will definitely be back.

ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!
We had a fantastic stay at Brian’s! We had to drive at night in a snow storm to get there an almost didn’t make it but we are so glad we did! The place was beautiful and peaceful and soo relaxing. Brian was very responsive and understanding. He even offered us a late check out due to the issues we had getting there because of the snow storm. Would absolutely recommend this place if you and your family are looking for a relaxing, cozy, nature filled spot!

We had wild weather during our stay so we stayed inside for most of it, which was no problem because it was extremely cozy with the fireplace, plenty of books and games to entertain ourselves with, and fully equipped kitchen. We did finally get a chance to get outside, explore the on-site trails and made a campfire. It was the perfect place for a beautifully quiet, peaceful weekend away.
